Kick Off Your Memorial Day BBQ with These Lip-Smacking Recipes

Hey there, foodie friends!

Memorial Day weekend is just around the corner and you know what that means – it's time to fire up the grill and kick-start the summer BBQ season! Are you excited? Because I sure am! Here are 5 of my absolute favorite BBQ recipes that I promise will be a hit at your backyard party. So let's dive right in, shall we?

  1. Smoky BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwiches

Who can resist the magical combination of juicy, tender pulled pork, tangy BBQ sauce, and crunchy coleslaw all packed into a soft bun? Certainly not me!

*Ingredients:*

- 4-5 lbs pork shoulder

- Your favorite BBQ rub

- 1 bottle BBQ sauce

- Buns

- Coleslaw

- Pickles

Rub that pork shoulder with your favorite BBQ rub, then slow cook it until it's tender enough to pull apart with a fork. Once shredded, mix it up with your favorite BBQ sauce (the smokier, the better). Pile it high on a bun, top it off with some crunchy coleslaw and pickles, and there you have it – a sandwich made in BBQ heaven!

  1. Grilled Lemon Herb Chicken Skewers

When life gives you lemons...grill 'em! These zesty chicken skewers will take your taste buds on a Mediterranean vacation.

*Ingredients:*

- Boneless chicken breast

- Bell peppers

- Onion

- Zucchini

- Fresh herbs (thyme, rosemary, parsley)

- Lemons

- Tzatziki sauce

Marinate your chicken chunks with a bunch of fresh herbs, squeeze of lemon, and a touch of olive oil. Skewer them up with bell peppers, onions, and zucchini, then grill 'em until they're golden. Don't forget the tzatziki sauce for that cool and creamy finish.

  1. Baby Back Ribs with Peach Bourbon BBQ Sauce

Nothing screams "BBQ" quite like some finger-lickin', fall-off-the-bone ribs. And this Peach Bourbon BBQ Sauce? It's the sticky icing on the cake!

*Ingredients:*

- Baby back ribs

- Dry rub

- BBQ sauce

- Peaches

- Bourbon

Slather those ribs in your favorite dry rub, slow cook them until they're fall-off-the-bone tender, and then finish them on the grill. Meanwhile, mix up some BBQ sauce with pureed peaches and a splash of bourbon. Generously brush it on the ribs as they grill, and voila, you've got a rib masterpiece!

  1. BBQ Shrimp and Pineapple Kabobs

These sweet and tangy shrimp kabobs are proof that great things come in small packages.

*Ingredients:*

- Shrimp

- Fresh pineapple

- BBQ sauce

- Skewers

- Cilantro-lime sauce

Marinate your shrimp in BBQ sauce, then skewer them up with fresh pineapple chunks. Grill until they're perfectly caramelized and serve with a zesty cilantro-lime sauce. Trust me, your guests will be coming back for seconds...and thirds!

  1. Chili Rubbed Steak Tacos

Taco 'bout a crowd-pleaser! These chili rubbed steak tacos bring the heat and the flavor to any BBQ party.

*Ingredients:*

- Steak

- Chili rub

- Corn tortillas

- Pico de gallo

- Avocado

- Limes

Season your steak with a spicy chili rub, then grill it to perfection. Slice it thin and serve it on warm corn tortillas with fresh pico de gallo, creamy avocado.

Enjoy!!
