Netflix is headquartered here and is the town’s largest local employer. Numerous other tech firms are also based in Los Gatos. Downtown Los Gatos features an array of trendy shops and restaurants in a quaint village-like area. The Lexington House showcases California’s bountiful produce with an ever-changing seasonal menu of refined cuisine paired with cocktails, craft beers, fine spirits, and small-batch wines.
Dio Deka is a first-class choice for Greek food, serving modern reinterpretations of classic Greek dishes in a lavish interior dining space and pretty outdoor patio and courtyard. Dio Deka’s wine list has earned it the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence. Forbes Mill Steakhouse also offers an exceptional drinks list, including Napa Valley wines and a wide array of whiskies and other spirits. The steaks are the star of the show here — the menu includes certified USDA Prime angus beef, Westholme Wagyu 7-oz. filet mignon, and 12-oz. New York steak.

Things to Do
Vasona Lake County Park spans a beautiful 45-acre area surrounding the park’s namesake lake. Activities available on the lake include paddle boating, row boating, and fishing for black bass, bluegill, and catfish. The Los Gatos Creek Trail is a scenic walking, jogging, and biking trail connecting Vasona Lake County Park to other green spaces along the path of the Los Gatos Creek urban stream.
Throughout the summer, Music in the Park brings outdoor concerts to Los Gatos’ Oak Meadow Park. Other popular events include a downtown Wine Walk featuring tastings from some of the best local wineries. Los Gatos Certified Farmers Market takes place every Sunday between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. all year-round in downtown’s Town Park Plaza. The market’s wide selection of vendors includes more than 40 local farmers and food producers.
